Turn audio off when you canIt is the single biggest lever on cost here, and most edits replace generated sound anyway.

It is the prior Seedance Pro generation, kept because its price to control ratio is still good: prompt, optional frames and optional references go in, and it renders a clip with or without generated audio. Because audio is a real cost axis on this model rather than a free toggle, the silent path is meaningfully cheaper and is usually the right default for anything headed into an edit.

Does the last frame work on its own?

No. A last frame requires a first frame, so supply both or just the first.
